Founder of Quant Insight (Qi) in 2014 - after perceiving its success in the institutional world, he decided to level the playing field and provide the same tools to retail traders, through eyeQ. His extensive background includes roles at Morgan Stanley, UBS, Credit Suisse, BlueCrest Capital and Citi Capital Advisors Global Macro Fund.

An early-stage investor in Quant insight since September 2016, Peter now serves as our COO. He has 25 years of banking experience in derivatives trading and broking, having worked at Merrill Lynch, Tullett & Tokyo, and BGC Partners. He now brings his extensive experience of building new businesses into developing eyeQ.

Head of Marketing
With a background in financial markets and entrepreneurship, Stephen started as a team lead for Tullett & Tokyo Brokers in rates derivatives in London and Tokyo. He later transitioned to senior roles in B2C sales, marketing, and business development. As a founding member of Quant Insight, Stephen plays a key role in expanding the institutional (Qi) and retail (eyeQ) business.

Head of Analytics

Huw started his career in research at NatWest Markets working in economics & bond strategy before moving into Fixed Income sales at investment banks such as Merrill Lynch and CSFB. He has been at Quant Insight since the start and is now responsible for brining eyeQ's machine generated trade ideas to life - putting each signal into the context of what's topical in financial markets.

Head of Product

Omar joined Quant Insight/eyeQ in 2016, where he is now responsible for managing the delivery and development of products and UI. Prior to Qi, he spent 3 years at Citi within the Global FX team covering Sales and Options Trading. Omar graduated from the University of Southampton in 2012 with a degree in Economics.

Creative Lead
Multi-disciplinary creative with a Master's degree in Design from the University of Brighton and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, she specialises in marketing design and communications. At eyeQ, she leads creative development, overseeing marketing materials, product UI/UX, and the streamlining of internal processes to enhance efficiency.

Senior Back-end Developer

Jack joined Quant Insight in 2018, straight from Bristol University where he graduated with a B.Eng. in Engineering Mathematics. Jack works across both the data science and back-end development teams. He developed Qi’s initial trading bot RETINA, which is pivotal in the creation of eyeQ signals.

Sales, Marketing, and Communication Manager
With a Bachelor's degree in Economics from McGill University and a background in sales at an expert network, she developed her skills in relationship building and sales strategy. In her current role as Sales, Marketing, and Communication Manager, she leverages her expertise to orchestrate strategic campaigns and drive business growth.

CHARLIE FIELD
Back-end Developer

Charlie graduated from University of Bristol with a BEng in mechanical engineering. He trained as a data scientist at Afiniti, working on machine learning modelling before joining Quant Insight as a quantitative analyst. Charlie has been working on the development of Qi/eyeQ’s algorithm, RETINA and integrating clients APIs.
